Salary and Benefits: $50.48 - $59.05 per hour - According to education and experience.
Qualifications:- Recognized post-secondary Certificate, Diploma or degree, other related training or experience in a related area would be considered an asset
- Demonstrated experience in leading an interdisciplinary team
- Valid Driver's License
- Highly organized and analytical thinker with excellent problem-solving techniques
- Knowledge of all applicable Saskatchewan bus and motor vehicle codes, requirements and regulations
- Proficient in use of Microsoft applications and route management/reporting software.
Primary Duties:- System administrator responsible for the upkeep, security and reliability of the Bus Planner application including user access, data confidentiality, integrity and availability.
- Assist schools in maintaining data in Transportation Routing software.
- Maintain records of mileage, length of use, destination of vehicles, etc. for billing purposes.
- Monitor the scheduling of vehicles for regular maintenance checks.
- Plan, direct, monitor and evaluate the operation of the school division transportation department. Including, routing, student assignment, repair and maintenance and inventory.
- Develop, implement and monitor a proactive and comprehensive transportation safety program.
- Maintain SGI compliant maintenance records and files for mini-bus and school bus fleet.
- Ensure fleet vehicles are properly licensed and insured.
