DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled and motivated Intermediate Sourcing specialist, preferably with previous experience in the technology or financial sector, to join the procurement team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the assigned sourcing projects across different categories, ensuring the effective procurement of products and services. This role requires previous strategic sourcing experience, strong negotiation skills, the ability to lead projects with minimal supervision, and to collaborate with various stakeholders.
Responsibilities:- Implement sourcing strategies for projects across different categories, ensuring alignment with business objectives and market trends.
- Follow the end-to-end procurement process, including sourcing, negotiation, contracting, and supplier management.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify opportunities for cost savings, innovation, and improved supplier performance.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including IT, legal, and finance, to understand their requirements and ensure alignment with procurement strategies.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers, negotiating favorable terms and conditions to achieve the best value for the organization.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in procurement
- Reporting: Help set up some reporting for regular cadence to leadership and stakeholders
- Help with some contractors’ renewals: contractors’ renewals only, extension of SOW/processing REQs/updating CSA clauses
- Category analysis: Support category leads with spend analysis, contract analysis, and more to build out their respective category plans.
- Contract Review: Contract review of existing T0, T1, and T2 against current standards, draft amendments where needed. Older legacy agreements need focus.
- Review existing Contract files in Coupa to identify where MSA's or CSA's are missing.
- Update SOW templates to be more guided and user-friendly for procurement and stakeholders
Qualifications:- 4+ years of proven experience in procurement and category management, preferably in a large organization, technology, or financial institution.
- Knowledge of the software market, including key suppliers, pricing models, and licensing agreements.
- Strong negotiation and contract management skills, with a track record of achieving cost savings and value improvements.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Working knowledge of Coupa procurement software and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is an asset.
- Bachelor's degree in business, procurement, IT, or a related field. A master's degree or relevant professional certification (e.g., CPSM, CIPS) is a plus
