Primary Responsibilities:- Requirement Analysis: Collaborate with business analysts, stakeholders, and end-users to understand and document requirements.
- Test Plan Development: Create detailed test plans and scenarios to cover various use cases and edge scenarios.
- Test Execution: Execute test cases, document findings, and report issues.
- Defect Management: Triage, track, and communication defects to development teams, ensuring timely resolution.
- Usability Evaluation: Assess system usability, ease of use, and overall user experience.
- Documentation: Maintain documentation of test plans, results, and issue reports. Develop documentation relating to user specifications, training guides, etc. as needed.
- Collaboration: Work closely with various teams, including development, QA, and business stakeholders.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve the UAT process and deliver better quality operating system.
- Additional Duties: Undertake other tasks and responsibilities as required or assigned, demonstrating flexibility and a commitment to the overall goals of the team and organization.
Qualifications- Post-secondary diploma/degree, or equivalent work experience in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 2+ years’ experience in software testing, UAT, or related areas.
- Industry certifications in software testing or quality assurance may be beneficial.
- Experience working with Agile and Waterfall (CMMI) methodologies
- Experience in a law firm and/or title insurance environment is considered an asset.
- Understanding business processes and user workflows.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to problem-solve with minimal direction.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experienced self-starter with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent multi-tasking, organizational, and time management skills, including attention to detail and the ability to set priorities and meet deadlines.
- Flexible team player who works well under pressure with minimal supervision to meet tight deadlines.
- French language skills are considered an asset.
