This is a fly-in, fly-out, site-based position technically supporting a large underground mine construction project and interacting closely with raisebore contractors and various construction teams.

• preparing and maintaining drawings for underground mine ventilation systems;
• assisting with the design of underground mine ventilation systems to ensure adequate airflow, temperature control, and removal of harmful gases and dust, including the use of modelling and simulation tools;
• overseeing installation of ventilation equipment such as fans, ducts, regulators, and auxiliary ventilation systems;
• implementing upgrades and modifications to existing ventilation systems to improve efficiency and meet operational requirements;
• conducting regular airflow measurements using appropriate instruments;
• monitoring gas levels (e.g., methane, carbon monoxide, oxygen) to ensure a safe working environment; and
• accurately recording ventilation and air quality data.

• holds a degree in Mining, Civil, or related engineering discipline;
• 5+ years of underground mine experience;
• strong understanding of field-based project execution, contractor coordination, and construction support;
• ability to produce and review technical and project documentation to support execution and handover;
• strong safety awareness and experience working under site safety management systems;
• experience with Deswik.CAD; and
• Clear written and verbal communication skills suitable for a site-based, multi-disciplinary environment.
