Job PurposeUnder the direction of the Manger of DASCHWorks & Day Programs, the Vocational Supports Supervisor is responsible for the oversight and delivery of vocational and employment supports for people with intellectual disabilities, with the goal of helping people we support develop vocational skills, obtain competitive employment in the community, and maintain employment over time. The role provides day-to-day leadership and supervision to staff delivering vocational facilitation and employment services, and works directly with employers and stakeholders to support inclusive hiring and strong employment outcomes.
Pay + Perks- Salary: $20.75 - $23.00 per hour, depending on your experience and education.

Work Hours- Full Time, Monday-Friday
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends, based on operational and organizational needs.
Qualifications- Working understanding of the needs of people with intellectual disabilities.
- Experience in task analysis, instructional methods/design/modifications, group facilitation, and evaluation techniques.
- Minimum supervisory/leadership experience is required.
- Knowledge of marketing strategies (employment/client marketing strategies).
- Excellent written/oral communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to develop and maintain accurate records and reports as required (including program/government reporting).
- Proficiency in computer use and ability to maintain appropriate online systems.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment; patience and ability to listen non-judgmentally.
- College certificate or university degree in a related field is an asset.
- Certificate in Disability & Community Support is an asset.
- Education Assistant Diploma is an asset.
- Manitoba Class 5 Driver’s License (full or intermediate) with access to a vehicle is required.
