Job OverviewEnergetic and responsible Warehouse Shop and Yard Person with proven driving abilities. This position involves supporting daily warehouse, yard, and shop operations and driving company vehicles as required. 5 days a week with scheduled hours anywhere from 5 am to 5 pm.
Key Responsibilities- Operate company vehicles to transport goods and materials between the warehouse, yard, and customer sites.
- Load and unload materials from vehicles and move items within the warehouse and yard.
- Assist with shipping, receiving, inventory management, and order fulfillment.
- Keep the warehouse and yard organized and clean, including washing the floors and walls with pressure washer, reorganizing the shop on rotation.
- Perform routine equipment and vehicle checks, complete required logs and paperwork.
- Order fulfillment for shop supplies.
- Communicate effectively the gaps, challenges in the warehouse.
- Follow all company safety protocols and government transportation regulations.
Requirements- Valid driver’s license (Class 5 or higher preferred); clean driving record.
- Minimum 1 year of driving and warehouse/shop experience.
- Comfortable and experienced operating warehouse equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks, etc.). Forklift Ticket would be and asset.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- High attention to safety and detail.
- Ability to organize both product and staff.
