Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Warehouse Supervisor to oversee daily operations in our warehouse. This role includes managing shipping and receiving processes, supervising warehouse staff, maintaining inventory accuracy, and ensuring a safe and efficient working environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a commitment to excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

Shipping and Receiving:

• Oversee and coordinate all shipping and receiving activities to ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods.
• Inspect incoming shipments for accuracy, quality, and damage, resolving discrepancies as needed.
• Organize and schedule outgoing shipments, ensuring proper documentation and compliance with company policies.
• Maintain up-to-date records of all shipping and receiving transactions.

Warehouse Operations:

• Supervise daily warehouse activities, including order picking, packing, loading, and unloading.
• Implement and enforce standard operating procedures to improve efficiency and accuracy.
• Conduct regular inventory audits and ensure inventory accuracy.
• Coordinate with other departments to meet operational needs and resolve logistical challenges.

Team Supervision:

• Lead, mentor, and train warehouse staff to achieve performance goals.
• Monitor employee performance, providing feedback and support to foster professional development.
• Schedule shifts and allocate resources to optimize productivity.
• Ensure team compliance with safety standards and company policies.

Safety and Compliance:

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
• Conduct regular safety inspections and address potential hazards promptly.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable health and safety regulations.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; an associate degree or relevant certification is a plus.
• Proven experience in warehouse operations, including shipping and receiving responsibilities.
• Strong leadership and supervisory skills.
• Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in warehouse management.
• Ability to lift and move heavy objects as required.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods.
• Capability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.

Work Environment:

This position operates in a warehouse environment and may involve exposure to varying temperatures and noise levels.
