We are currently looking for a detail-oriented, energetic Warehouse Technician to join our operations team in Vaughan.
The RoleAs a Warehouse Technician, you ensure that every piece of gear—from speakers to LED panels—is accounted for, tested, and ready for showtime. This is a fast-paced role perfect for someone who loves gear and thrives on organization.
Key Responsibilities- Equipment Management: Prep, pull, and pack AV equipment orders according to show manifests.
- Quality Control: Perform routine testing and basic maintenance on audio, video, and lighting equipment upon return from events.
- Logistics: Assist with the loading and unloading of company trucks and third-party freight.
- Inventory Integrity: Scan equipment in and out using our inventory management software to ensure 100% accuracy.
- Shop Upkeep: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
What We’re Looking For- Experience: Previous experience in a warehouse or technical production environment is an asset, but we are willing to train the right candidate with a passion for AV. Forklift certification is an asset, but we are willing to provide training and certification.
- Technical Aptitude: Familiarity with professional audio visual equipment and basic operation of the equipment.
- Physical Capability: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and remain on your feet for extended periods.
- Mindset: A "no-task-is-too-small" attitude and the ability to stay calm under tight deadlines. The successful candidate will demonstrate exceptional initiative and self-direction. You are expected to anticipate departmental needs, prioritize tasks effectively, and drive key deliverables to completion with minimal supervision.
- Availability: Standard hours are Monday–Friday 10am - 6pm, but occasional evening or weekend flexibility may be required based on show schedules.
- Driving: A driver's license is an asset but not necessary.
