Our team at Hiemstra Trailer Sales has a full-time employment opportunity for an RV Warranty Administrator. Our ideal candidate has previous experience with the administration of warranties in automotive, RV, marine or powersport industries, OR with claims administration in a benefits setting.
Overview:A Warranty Administrator guides all phases of the repair process when a replacement part is in need for recreational vehicles and other leisure products that have warranties.

Reports to: Parts & Service Manager
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:- Submit warranty pre-authorizations on a timely basis, according to manufacturer guidelines, on multiple manufacturer portals, using information and pictures collected by technicians while unit is in service.
- Ensure information from technicians is correct and accurate during warranty submittal.
- Tracking claim approval statuses and resolving any questions between submissions and manufacturers.
- Providing updates to service department staff on claim statuses.
- Adjust and resubmit any denied claims.
- Coordinate and interface with parts manufacturers directly, if they hold warranty.
- Provide oversight and assistance to service department staff, including information on warranty expiration dates, recall information, and general warranty inquiries.
- Additional duties as assigned.
Essential Skills & Qualifications:- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum 1 years’ experience in service/service management.
- Knowledge of the RV industry is an asset.
- Proven experience in sales, customer relations, or related positions.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Excellent customer services skills.
- Problem solving and listening skills.
- Patient disposition to resolve conflicts.
- Knowledgeable in computer applications such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Knowledgeable in industry-specific software.
- Basic accounting skills and knowledge of electronic payment systems.
- Ability to periodically lift up to 25 lbs.
- Ability to work independently and as a team member.
