Position Overview

Front Line Work Force Inc. is hiring dedicated and compassionate weekend support staff to work within residential and community programs. This role involves supporting individuals with developmental disabilities, mental health needs, behavioural challenges, and complex care requirements.

You will play a key role in promoting a safe, structured, and supportive environment, while encouraging independence and personal growth.

Job Details

• Employment Type: Part-time / Casual
• Pay Rate: Starting from $21.00 per hour
• DSW / CYW: From $21.00/hr - $22.00 per hour
• SSW: $21.00 – $23.00/hr

Schedule

Weekend availability is required:

• Day shifts
• Afternoon shifts
• Evening shifts
• Overnight shifts

Opportunities for additional weekday shifts may be available.

Key Responsibilities

Client Care & Support

• Provide supervision and assistance within residential settings
• Support personal care and daily living activities as needed
• Encourage independence and structured routines

Life Skills Development

• Assist with cooking, cleaning, budgeting, and daily tasks
• Promote community involvement and social interaction

Behavioural Support

• Assist individuals with behavioural or emotional needs
• Apply de-escalation strategies and positive behaviour techniques

Residential Duties

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe living environment
• Support household routines and shared responsibilities

Documentation & Team Communication

• Complete daily logs and incident reports
• Communicate updates clearly with team members and supervisors

Qualifications

Applicants must hold one of the following:

• PSW Certificate
• DSW Diploma
• CYW Diploma
• SSW Diploma

Additional Requirements:

• Valid CPR & First Aid Certification
• Vulnerable Sector Police Check
• CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention) or similar training is an asset

Experience in group homes, shelters, residential care, or community programs is strongly preferred.
