Position Title: Weekly Planner (fly in - fly out)Salary Range: $65/hr + OT after 8 hours per dayAbout the Client and RoleWe are seeking an experienced Weekly Planner to join the Process Plant Maintenance Department at a well-established open pit and underground mining operation in Northern Ontario. This role operates on a 14 days on / 14 days off rotation, with site accommodations and meals provided. Transportation to and from site is also covered.The position offers a rate of $62 per hour, with overtime applicable after 8 hours per day. Responsibilities:- Plan and release work orders (task lists, SOPs, permits, resourcing, materials, tools, equipment, costs, preliminary work, scheduling dates).
- Weekly mechanical schedule for process plant
- Small project WOs
- Maintain a healthy fixed plant maintenance shutdown backlog with ready-to-schedule work on critical equipment.
- Address any associated planning issues, such as operational requirements, parts availability, equipment deficiencies, inadequate work procedures, and data accuracy.
- Seek ways to improve work package requirements and minimize costs without sacrificing safety or quality.
- Lead fixed plant maintenance preparation, update and review meetings.
- Coordinate with the reliability and engineering personnel for the development of maintenance strategies for critical equipment.
- Liaise with technical departments to minimize shutdown delays.
- Understand production plans and mill maintenance activities and collaborate closely with other shift supervisors, engineers, and maintenance personnel in preparing and coordinating shutdown maintenance activities.
Requirements:- College diploma or university degrees in a related maintenance field and/or licensed Trade (Millwright, Welder)
- A maintenance certification such as Certified Maintenance and Reliability Professionals (CMRP), Maintenance Management Professional (MMP) or Certified Reliability Engineer (CRE) is a strong asset.
- A minimum of 5-7 years experience in the trade, or planning or supervisory in a Mine Maintenance environment
- Experience using SAP and/or JDEExperience in CMMS implementation an asset
