We are seeking an experienced Welder / Fabrication Technician to join a highly specialized manufacturing environment focused on designing and building large-scale engineered equipment used in global industrial applications.

This role involves working on complex welded assemblies used in demanding sectors such as mining, power transmission, offshore energy, marine, and large infrastructure projects. The work is highly technical, precision-driven, and involves exposure to some of the most advanced engineered systems in the industry.

The ideal candidate is a certified welder with heavy fabrication experience, strong blueprint reading ability, and experience working in a manufacturing or heavy equipment environment. They take pride in high-quality workmanship, are safety-focused, and enjoy working on technically challenging, large-scale projects.

• Interpret engineering drawings to set up and fabricate components for heavy industrial equipment
• Perform welding using MCAW and FCAW processes on carbon steel and stainless steel materials
• Assemble and weld components to meet strict dimensional and quality tolerances
• Conduct and support weld inspections including visual checks, MPI, ultrasonic, and radiographic testing
• Ensure weld quality meets engineering and industry standards
• Operate fabrication equipment including plasma cutting systems as required
• Collaborate with production and engineering teams to ensure accurate build execution
• Maintain a safe, organized, and quality-focused work environment

• Certified Welder (CWB or equivalent) or previously certified in MCAW/FCAW
• Experience in heavy fabrication or industrial manufacturing environment
• Strong ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints
• Experience working with structural or large welded assemblies is an asset
• Comfortable working in a production and project-based manufacturing environment
• Willingness to work shifts and overtime when required
