Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced 3-axis CNC Programmer to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, testing, and running CNC programs to produce high-quality components efficiently.

This role requires a strong understanding of CNC machinery as well as proficiency in CAD/CAM software and blueprint reading. The CNC Programmer will collaborate closely with machinists and engineers to ensure manufacturing processes meet specifications and quality standards.

Duties

• Develop and write CNC programs using Cimatron software.
• Interpret blueprints, technical drawings and specifications to determine machining requirements.
• Set up and operate 3-axis CNC machines ensuring precise tool paths and operations.
• Perform machine calibration, tool selection, and maintenance to optimize performance.
• Conduct test runs, analyze results, and make necessary adjustments to improve efficiency and accuracy.
• Coordinate with Designers and Toolmakers
• Follow manufacturing principles to streamline processes.
• Ensure safety protocols are strictly followed during all operations.

Job requirements

• Proven experience with CNC programming, particularly with Cimatron software and Fanuc controls required.
• Strong mechanical knowledge related of machining processes and equipment maintenance.
• Proficiency in CAD software and general blueprint reading skills.
• Familiarity with manufacturing environments, including machining, assembly and use of hand tools.
• Basic math skills for measurements and calculations essential for precision machining.
• Experience operating 3-axis CNC milling machines is required.
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles is a plus.
• Ability to work independently or collaboratively in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail is essential.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $28.00-$33.00 per hour
