Account Manager / Junior Project ManagerAs an exciting and fast-growing leader within the international corporate event and tradeshow exhibit world, Pro-X Event is looking to expand their team with a well-organized and dedicated Account Manager / Junior Project Manager who will take ownership over the administrative and logistical aspects of small projects. This position is an expansion to the existing team.
Location:- Mississauga, Ontario (in-office)
Responsibilities:- Receive, understand and restructure project data from client-facing proposals into internal-facing project templates
- Be the liaison between client, sales, logistics and production, ensuring all needs are met
- Source and communicate show-specific information with internal teams and the client, such as show dates and venue-specific requirements
- Complete all paperwork surrounding trade show and conferences, including electrical orders, material handling, and completing & submitting show-required paperwork
- Follow up and follow through all projects to completion to ensure nothing is missed
- Flag issues or discrepancies that may arise in projects, and work with the team to solve them
- Positively communicate and collaborate across all departments within the organization
Qualifications:- Superior English communication skills (in person, on the phone and via email)
- 1+ years of experience in a similar role
- Proficiency in the virtual Microsoft Office suite and Google suite
- Self-starter who can work independently
- Highly organized with a keen eye for details and deadlines
- Experience with account and project management an asset
- Post secondary degree or diploma is an an asset
