Position SummaryThe Account Manager, Physician Relations (AMPR), is responsible for supporting physicians and clinic teams participating in the eConsult Canada program. Serving as the primary point of contact from onboarding onward, this role helps ensure physicians and their staff are set up for success, remain engaged over time, and receive responsive, high-quality support. The AMPR builds strong, trust-based relationships with physicians and clinic teams, supports adoption and ongoing program participation, and works closely with internal teams to strengthen the overall physician experience. This is a relationship-driven role suited to a proactive, service-oriented professional with experience in account management, healthcare, physician relations, or a related field. The role includes regular travel across Alberta, including rural and remote communities, to support clinic engagement, onboarding, and ongoing physician relationships.
Key Responsibilities- Lead onboarding and training for new physicians and clinic teams, ensuring a smooth transition into the eConsult Canada program.
- Serve as the primary relationship contact for physicians and clinic staff, providing responsive support and helping to address questions, concerns, and feedback.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with physicians and clinic teams to support long-term engagement, satisfaction, and retention.
- Conduct regular virtual and in-person check-ins with participating physicians and clinics to support adoption, address issues, and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Partner with internal teams, including business development, operations, product, and marketing, to support physician needs and enhance the overall program experience.
- Monitor physician engagement, participation, and key account metrics, and provide regular reporting and insights to support performance and planning.
- Provide first-line support for program, workflow, and technology-related issues, coordinating internally to resolve concerns quickly and minimize disruption.
- Support the development and distribution of physician-facing communications, training resources, updates, and engagement materials.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of physician interactions, account activity, feedback, and follow-up actions.
- Represent eConsult Canada professionally in physician interactions, clinic visits, meetings, and other relationship-building activities.

- A demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong professional relationships with physicians, clinic teams, or other healthcare stakeholders.
- Strong communication, relationship-building, and presentation skills.
- Experience supporting onboarding, training, and ongoing account management in a healthcare or service-based environment.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple accounts, priorities, and follow-up activities effectively.
- Sound judgment, responsiveness, and a solutions-oriented approach to issue resolution.
- Familiarity with EMR systems, healthcare technology platforms, and regulated healthcare environments is an asset.
- Willingness and ability to travel regularly across Alberta, including rural and remote communities, to support clinics and physician relationships.
- Post-secondary education in business, health sciences, healthcare administration, or a related field is preferred, though equivalent experience will be considered.
