We are currently seeking an experienced Accounts Payable (AP) for a contract assignment supporting a growing Mine in Canada. This role is primarily responsible for processing company payments and managing all outgoing financial transactions. We are looking for someone with strong SAP experience. This is a contract position with an initial term of 3+ months, though it is expected to extend longer and may have the potential to convert to a permanent role. The position is work-from-home, with a pay rate of $60/hour. Must be able to travel periodically to the site.

We prefer someone who is not working and can start fairly soon.

• Pay company bills and manage outgoing payments
• Process invoices, purchase orders, and expense reports
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies
• Maintain vendor records and communicate with suppliers
• Assist with month-end closing and reportingSupport audits and ensure compliance with policies

• Experience in Accounts Payable processing, preferably in an ERP system (SAP)
• Strong knowledge of invoice processing, reconciliations, and payment procedures
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software
• Attention to detail and accuracy in financial transactions
• Good organizational and time-management skills
• Ability to communicate effectively with vendors and internal teams
• Experience with audit support or SOX compliance is an asset
