Accounts Receivable Supervisor

We are looking for a driven and committed candidate who exhibits enthusiasm for performing accounting receivable activities and can elevate the receivable role to the next level by thinking out of the box and applying analytical and strategic thinking. This position will be integral to a passionate and dynamic team that values growth, innovation, and collaboration.
Key Responsibilities- Manage daily operations of the Accounts Receivable (AR) function and provide guidance to team members.
- Lead collection activities, including monitoring outstanding balances and following up on overdue accounts.
- Perform account reconciliations and analyze billing and payment data.
- Investigate and resolve payment discrepancies and respond to internal and external inquiries.
- Ensure adherence to company credit and risk management policies, including required reporting.
- Manage customer credit limits and manage account status in alignment with internal guidelines.
- Prepare regular AR aging reports and escalate issues as appropriate.
- Track and report on key performance indicators related to receivables.
- Maintain customer account information within internal systems, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Support and back up team processes such as cash application and general AR activities.
- Assist with invoicing and related documentation as required.
Skills/Knowledge/Experience required to perform the job:- College education in an accounting or business program or equivalent applicable experience.
- Minimum 3-4 years previous experience in accounts receivable collections.
- Previous leadership experience is an asset. Ability to lead and direct the work of others.
- Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal).
- Intermediate computer skills with MS Word, Excel, Outlook.
- Ability to work with little supervision.

Expected Salary: $70,000.00 - $85,000.00
