Our client is looking for an Administrative Assistant to provide temporary support. Must have a keen attention to detail and strong technical abilities particularly with Word, Outlook and MS Teams. Previous administrative experience and good communication skills are mandatory. It is also important to have the ability to learn new systems and procedures quickly and be able to manage and prioritize multiple/competing tasks.
Location: Burnaby, fully in-office
Contract: 3 month term
Pay rate: $29.50/hr
Responsibilities:- Perform complex clerical and administrative duties for supervisors and their teams.
- Arrange and coordinate appointments, meetings, logistics, and maintain calendars.
- Screen callers, process confidential materials, and prepare routine correspondence.
- Assemble, edit, collate, format, and prepare technical and administrative documents
- Maintain electronic and hard-copy filing systems in accordance with corporate records management standards.
Requirements:- Intermediate Microsoft Office skills (MS Word, Excel, and Outlook)
- Experience using MS Teams
- Keen attention to detail as they will be responsible for formatting various documents
- Ability to manage multiple inboxes and calendars in Outlook
- Strong organizational skills
- Experience in a fast-paced office environment
- Self-starter and multi-tasker (must take initiative)
- Meeting support - booking, preparing agenda and minute taking experience would be an asset
- Ability to learn new procedures and systems quickly
- Ability to prioritize
Pay: $29.00-$29.50 per hour
Expected hours: 37.5 per week
