Permanent Full-Time Position (40 hours/weekly)
Bridges Community Living is a non-profit organization providing housing supports for families and seniors. We are currently recruiting for a Permanent Full-Time Administration Assistant position. This position reports to the Housing Manager and will provide administrative support for the Office and Housing Department.
QUALIFICATIONS:- Minimum 2 years Office administration experience
- Be comfortable with conflict resolution and handling of tenant concerns.
- Mandatory successful criminal record check
- Proficient use of MS Office Suite
- Proven leadership skills, Excellent Verbal/Oral Communication and comprehensive listening is a must.
- Ability to juggle workload, attention to detail, excellent team player with the ability to work independently.
- Demonstrated initiative, follow-through, and problem-solving ability.
- Compassion and desire to work with Seniors.
- Appropriate equivalencies may be considered.
Principal Accountabilities:- Provide full administrative support for the Housing Department
- Provide support for residents or walk in traffic, telephone contact for inquiries and notify appropriate personnel as required.
- Maintain internal records and archiving records.
- Responsible for monthly communication including monthly Newsletters.
- Communicating to our residents and their family’s information that pertains to their health, housing, and well being
- Developing communication material to give the organization a better awareness in the Community and to assist in future fund-raising initiatives.
- Responsible for updating of BCL Website & Daily Socials as required.
- Ordering and maintenance of all office & kitchen supplies and equipment
- Provide back up support for Human Resources special projects & Maintenance as required.
- Other special projects and tasks as assigned.
