You and the Role:Want to go beyond using AI—and actually build tools with it?
At OSBA, we’re looking for an AI Analyst who is excited to experiment, create, and help us integrate AI into how we work. This role is hands-on, practical, and focused on real outcomes—not theory.
You’ll be working directly on developing customized AI tools (including GPT-based solutions), improving workflows, and helping us rethink how data, reporting, and everyday tasks can be done better.
If you’re the kind of person who likes testing ideas, building things, and figuring out how technology can actually make life easier—this is your role.
What You’ll Do (Duties)- Develop customized AI tools (including GPT-based tools) for OSBA projects
- Build systems that improve efficiency in data collection, analysis, and reporting
- Create user guides and documentation for tools developed
- Support data analysis, visualization, and storytelling using AI-enhanced approaches
- Identify and recommend new tools, datasets, or technologies
- Collaborate with staff and partners to apply AI solutions in real-world contexts
- Track and document tools, decisions, and outcomes

Nice to have:- Experience using AI tools (ChatGPT, APIs, automation tools, etc.)
- Basic understanding of data analysis or visualization
- Interest in innovation, systems design, or product development

Eligibility (Canada Summer Jobs)- Be between 15 and 30 years of age at the start of employment
- Be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or person with refugee protection
- Be legally entitled to work in Canada
