OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and dynamic Assistant Director to support the overall management and operational functions of our organization. The ideal candidate will play a key role in assisting with program development, staff supervision, and strategic planning to ensure the successful delivery of our services, in-class children supervision, school pickup and drop off. Responsibilities- Assist the Director in overseeing daily operations and ensuring program objectives are met effectively
- Support staff management, including training, mentoring, and performance evaluations
- Help develop and manage budgets to ensure financial sustainability and efficient resource allocation
- Coordinate educational activities, workshops, or community outreach initiatives
- Monitor program quality and implement improvements based on feedback and assessment data
- Facilitate communication between staff, stakeholders, and participants to foster a collaborative environment
- Assist in planning events, meetings, and special projects aligned with organizational goals
- Ensure compliance with organizational policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements
Skills- Strong leadership abilities with experience in supervising teams and managing projects
- Early childhood educator level 3
- Valid class 5 license.
- Proficiency in budgeting, financial planning, and resource management
- Excellent teaching or training skills to support staff development and participant engagement
- Effective communication skills for liaising with diverse groups including staff, clients, and community partners
- Organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities efficiently
- Adaptability and problem-solving skills to address challenges proactively
- Passion for education, community service, or organizational mission-driven work
