OverviewWe are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Autism Specialist to perform observation and/or assessments for clients with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) in various settings. The ideal candidate will have experience working with, observation, behaviour analysis, assessment and supporting individuals with disabilities including autism and a strong commitment to enhancing quality of life through personalized care and support. This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those with special needs by providing tailored assistance in daily activities, behavioral support, and skill development.
Duties- Develop and implement individualized care plans tailored to each client's needs and goals
- Support/prescribe behavioral interventions and therapeutic activities
- Work collaboratively with clinical care team
- Prepare reports, data collection, interpret data collection
- Act as liaison between clinical team and clients
Qualifications- Degree in related field
- Autism intervention experience
- Assessment experience
- Minimum 5 Years experience with autism
- Flexibility
- Driver's licence to attend assignments
The successful candidates will work alongside the Pangea clinical team to provide support for the associate teams. Must be able to work independently and as a team.
Job Type: Casual
Pay: $30.00-$50.00 per hour
Expected hours: 1 – 2 per week
