Duties- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and menu specifications.
- Ensure all food handling and preparation practices comply with food safety regulations.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and cooking areas, including proper storage of ingredients.
- Assist in menu planning and development, contributing creative ideas for new dishes.
- Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and report any shortages to management.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient meal service during peak hours.
- Participate in training new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques and safety standards.
Experience- Previous experience in the food industry or restaurant environment is preferred.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques is essential.
- Familiarity with meal preparation methods and kitchen equipment operation is a plus.
- Strong teamwork skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a busy kitchen setting.
