Procom is searching for a Business Intelligence and Analytics Developer - Senior for a 12 month contract. This position is a hybrid position with 3 days onsite at our client’s Calgary office.

Seeking two specialized business intelligence and analytics contractors to enhance delivery capacity in support of a portfolio of work. The successful candidates will be responsible for performing the analysis and implementation of reporting and analytics solutions, focusing on the development of ETL scripts and data pipelines.

• Coordinate with SMEs to define reporting requirements.
• Work with IT Governance team to validate solution architectural proposals.
• Review and update data marts as needed.
• Develop ETL scripts for new tables.
• Develop pipelines within Azure Data Factory.
• Build reports and dashboards with approved technologies.
• Prepare technical documentation for maintenance.
• Train internal support staff.

• Five (5+) years’ experience developing and delivering business intelligence and analytics solutions.
• Experience using PowerCenter Informatica for ETL script development.
• Experience with SAP BusinessObjects for data warehouse management and report creation.
• Experience with data visualization using Microsoft Power BI.
• Experience with Microsoft data platform tools including Azure Data Factory and Azure Synapse Analytics.
• Experience applying data modeling principles such as Kimball Dimensional Modelling.
• Experience working with database technologies and scripting, such as Oracle or SQL Server.

• Knowledge of cloud data architecture (lakehouse, modern data warehouse).
• Experience with Azure security: managed identities, RBAC, data controls.
• Familiarity with CI/CD and DevOps (Azure DevOps, Git).
• Up-to-date Azure AZ-104 and Microsoft DP-600 & 700 certification.
• Data virtualization using Denodo.

This is a contract position for 12 months.

Calgary, Alberta, Canada. Hybrid position with 3 days onsite.
