Overview

We are seeking a friendly and dynamic Customer Service Associate / Cashier to join our retail team. This role is essential in providing exceptional service to our customers, managing transactions efficiently, and promoting a positive shopping experience. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, be organized, and have a passion for assisting customers with their needs. Bilingual abilities and experience in retail sales or technical sales are highly valued to enhance customer interactions and support sales initiatives.

Duties

• Greet customers warmly and assist them with their purchases in a professional manner
• Operate POS systems accurately for cash handling, credit card transactions, and returns
• Provide product demonstrations and explain features to customers interested in technology or other merchandise
• Upsell products and services to maximize sales opportunities while ensuring customer satisfaction
• Manage merchandising displays and ensure the store remains organized and inviting
• Handle customer inquiries via phone, in person, or through digital channels with excellent phone etiquette
• Maintain accurate cash register operations and perform basic math calculations for transactions
• Assist in inventory management and restocking shelves as needed
• Support the team with time management to ensure smooth store operations during shifts

Qualifications

• Previous experience in retail sales, cashiering, or customer service preferred
• Strong communication skills in English; bilingual abilities are a plus
• Knowledge of POS systems, cash handling procedures, and basic math skills
• Ability to perform product demos and explain technical features confidently
• Organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently during busy periods
• Experience in merchandising, upselling, or technical sales is advantageous
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively
• Professional phone etiquette and customer service orientation are essential
• Ability to work well within a team environment and adapt quickly to changing priorities

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $15.00-$16.00 per hour
