About the role

Sureline Logistics Inc. is a Calgary-based carrier launching power-only, cross-border operations into the US, primarily in the Pacific Northwest and Upper Midwest. We are a wholly owned subsidiary of Infinity Ventures Group Inc. and operate from a permanent facility in Calgary SE. We are focused on building a professional, well-run operation with quality equipment and a strong safety culture.

This role is ideal for an experienced Class 1 driver who prefers the flexibility of occasional/on-call runs rather than a standard full-time commitment.

Onboarding will begin immediately, with first dispatches starting once final compliance and regulatory steps are complete.

Requirements (Must-Have)

• Valid Alberta Class 1 licence
• Minimum 5 years of verifiable Class 1 experience
• Clean 5-year commercial driver abstract, suitable for insurance approval
• Strong safety record and professional communication skills
• Comfortable with long-haul and cross-border operating requirements, including ELD, HOS, and customs documentation
• Reliable transportation to our Calgary SE facility and the ability to accept on-call dispatches with reasonable notice

Strongly Preferred

• Prior Canada/US cross-border long-haul experience
• FAST card

Responsibilities

• Complete onboarding and compliance-readiness steps (documentation, safety policy review, and pre-trip standards)
• Operate professionally on long-haul, cross-border Canada/US power-only runs
• Conduct thorough pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections and defect reporting
• Coordinate paperwork flow and real-time updates with dispatch and brokers
• Maintain meticulous HOS/ELD records

Equipment & Comfort

You will be operating a 2019 Kenworth sleeper tractor with automatic (AMT) transmission (power-only) that will be serviced at Kenworth prior to dispatch. The unit includes:

• Adaptive cruise control for enhanced safety and reduced driver fatigue
• Brand-new mattress, microwave, fridge/freezer, and TV
• New ELD installed prior to launch

Pay

• $36.00 – $42.00 per hour to start, based on experience and insurability
• Minimum 4 hours’ pay for every call-out
• As operations ramp up, compensation and run structure will be reviewed based on lane profile and operational needs

Hiring process

• Third-party road evaluation and pre-trip assessment, as required for insurance approval
• Insurance approval and start date confirmation
