Responsibilities- Lead and supervise kitchen staff to ensure efficient food preparation and service
- Oversee all aspects of food production, including cooking, plating, and presentation
- Develop and implement creative menus that align with restaurant concepts and customer preferences
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene
- Manage inventory, order supplies, and control food costs effectively
- Train and mentor team members to enhance their skills and promote a positive work environment
- Collaborate with front-of-house staff to coordinate service flow and guest satisfaction
- Monitor quality control throughout the food preparation process to ensure consistency and excellence
- Handle customer feedback professionally, resolving any issues related to food or service
Requirements- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, and restaurant management
- Supervising experience within a busy kitchen or hospitality environment
- Strong knowledge of food safety standards and handling procedures
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage a diverse team effectively
- Excellent understanding of the food industry trends, restaurant operations, and hospitality standards
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Experience with menu development, food presentation, and serving techniques
- Prior restaurant experience is preferred; culinary certifications are a plus
- Exceptional communication skills with a focus on teamwork and customer service
