Responsibilities- Facilitate the classroom; assist students with the learning progress
- Guide students to work on different STEAM/STEM projects
- Review the curriculum before each session
- Help with curriculum development and provide feedback to improve curriculum quality.
- Ensure student's completion of the project and provide feedback to parents
- Provide homework support, and other tutoring services as needed
- Support a healthy, safe, and fun learning environment
- Assist with outdoor activities
- Available to work from 2.30pm to 6pm Mondays and Thursdays during school year
- Preferred to have class 5 driver license to drive and pick up students during school year from September until June
- Prefer Canadian/ PR Status University students
Qualifications- Energetic and enthusiastic individuals
- Have some experience working with children
- Be able to create a safe, fun and engaging environment
- Excellent communication skills, and teamwork skills
- Basic coding and technology knowledge (Python, HTML/CSS, Javascript, Robotics, or the ability to learn quickly) is an asset.
Job Types: Part-time, Seasonal, Internship / Co-op
Contract length: 6 months
Pay: $18.50-$19.50 per hour
