We are currently seeking a Clinical Project Lead to join our team in Vancouver.
The Clinical Project Lead is responsible for leading clinical initiatives that enhance the quality, safety, and effectiveness of home and community care services at Classic LifeCare. This role bridges clinical practice and operations, driving projects that improve client outcomes, support frontline teams, and ensure compliance with funder standards and accreditation requirements.
Working closely with the Executive Leader to advance the organization’s clinical initiatives, the Clinical Project Lead collaborates with Clinical, Operations, and Service Leaders to ensure new programs, processes, and innovations are effectively implemented and sustained across the organization.
Pay rate: $33 to $37 per hour
Key ResponsibilitiesClinical Project Leadership- Lead the design, implementation, and evaluation of clinical programs and initiatives across our locations
- Develop project plans, timelines, and measurable outcomes aligned with organizational priorities
- Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure successful execution of projects
- Monitor progress and proactively address barriers to implementation
Quality Improvement & Best Practices- Identify opportunities to enhance client care, safety, and service delivery
- Lead quality improvement initiatives aligned with Accreditation Canada and health authority standards
- Promote evidence-based practices and continuous improvement across clinical teams
- Support standardization of clinical processes and documentation
Collaboration- Partner with Nursing and Care teams to support adoption of new initiatives
- Collaborate with Operations, HR, and Coordination to ensure alignment and feasibility
- Engage clients and families in care improvement initiatives when appropriate
Compliance & Risk Management- Ensure all clinical projects align with provincial regulations, professional standards, and organizational policies
- Support audit readiness, accreditation activities, and policy development
- Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies to ensure safe care delivery
Change Management & Education- Lead change management strategies for new clinical programs and workflows
- Develop training materials and support onboarding of new processes
- Coach and support employees through transitions
- Foster a culture of accountability, engagement, and continuous learning
Data, Evaluation & Reporting- Track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to clinical outcomes and service quality
- Analyze data to measure project impact and inform decision-making
- Prepare reports and presentations for leadership
- Use insights to recommend improvements and scale successful initiatives
QualificationsEducation & Experience- Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse (RN) or regulated health professional licence
- 5+ years of clinical experience, preferably in home care, community health, or pediatric care
- 2+ years of experience in project leadership, quality improvement, or clinical operations
Skills & Competencies- Strong understanding of BC and AB home care landscape and health authority expectations
- Experience with quality improvement methodologies
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a dynamic environment
- Proficiency in clinical documentation systems and project tools
