VAC Developments Ltd is a Canadian Aerospace and Defense Manufacturing Company. We are looking for experienced CNC Milling or Lathe Programmer to join to our Programming department.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Fully skilled CNC Milling or Lathe Programmer
• Studies blueprint and specifications to determine exact programming needs for CNC machine. Writes program using Mastercam software.
• Through understanding for interpreting engineering drawings, cutting tool selection and set up.
• Ensures that all aspects of our CNC machining is carried out in the most efficient and cost effective manner to meet the demands of production.
• Proficient trouble shooting abilities for work with a wide variety of materials.

Education and/or Experience

• Certificate or degree in manufacturing or process engineering would be an asset.
• 5-10 years related work experience in Aerospace Machining/CNC Programming
• Knowledge of machining methods for medium to complex components including machine components.
• Programming with mill-turn experience.
• Machine control FANUC, MAZATROL, SIEMENS
• Programming experience for Mazak, DMG, Doosan, Matsuura..
• Knowledge of work holding equipment and good knowledge of machine posts.
