We are looking to hire a CNC Programmer/ Operator with Thermwood experience for our client in the Keele and Langstaff area of Concord.

Our client is looking for full time staff to work Monday to Friday

Day Shift

730AM to 5:00PM Monday to Thursday

730AM to 4:00PM Fridays

Position Summary

Our client is seeking a hard working, dedicated and punctual individual. The CNC programmer / operator is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of CNC Machines. Programmers also to perform and record periodic production quality checks.

Duties & responsibilities

• CNC Programmer / Operator
• Programming AutoCad layouts
• Maintaining tooling and standard practices for Thermwood machinery
• Loading and Unloading material with assistance
• Knowledgeable with safety, quality and productivity around CNC machines
• Ability to work day shift schedule
• Standing for long periods of time
• Personable with clear communication skills
• Able to work well with others in a team environment
• Good attitude required
• Maintaining a clean workspace
• Some lifting is required

Qualifications

• Minimum 2-year experience with CNC programming
• Knowledge of Mastercam
• Thermwood CNC machinery experience
• Ability to read blueprints and use calipers
• Full-time availability
• Woodworking environment an asset

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $26.00-$30.00 per hour
