DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:- Follow supervisor's assignments for opening and closing procedures, as well as food production.
- Prepare food and beverage products for customers by following recipe guidelines, using proper preparation techniques, and sanitation guidelines.
- Become educated with all menu items and able to assist guests with questions pertaining to food allergies and sensitivities.
- Set up and operate kitchen equipment.
- Clean equipment properly according to correct procedures.
- Keep the workstation clean, organized, sanitized, and sufficiently stocked.
- Work cooperatively with co-workers and management.
QUALIFICATIONS:- Cooking experience preferred (line cook, restaurant cook, or prep cook).
- Excellent understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures.
- Ability to work effectively with others.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Food Handler’s certification is an asset.
- Accuracy and speed in executing assigned tasks.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:- Ability to constantly stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive motions.
- Ability to remain standing for the entire length of shift.
- Ability to perform normal lifting of stock up to 30 pounds.
- May be required to work in confined and/or narrow spaces.
