Role Summary:We are looking for a medical specialist or research scientist to represent our company on a contract basis at a sponsored physician event in Toronto. This opportunity is ideal for a researcher or clinician wishing to extend their extracurricular activity to include meaningful peer-to-peer interaction in a business/ industry context and can potentially can be extended to longer-term educational and stakeholder initiatives.
Key Responsibilities (Initial Scope):- Represent the organization at a sponsored Toronto physician event in May (and possible ongoing representation)
- Deliver a very short (10-15 minute) and engaging presentation to share relevant information about our services
- Engage in light advocacy / stakeholder communications insofar as they align with your expertise
- Assist the company in extending our network amongst relevant healthcare professionals in Toronto
- Handle all personal preparation, materials review, transportation, and on-site setup/logistics.
- Provide a brief post-event summary of interactions and insights (no hard selling required — focus is on education and relationship-building).
Future Potential Opportunities (Optional / Negotiated Separately):- Ongoing representation at physician liaison activities
- Planning and delivery of educational seminars or workshops for healthcare professionals (HCPs).
- Support for hospital stakeholder engagement.
- Government relations and light lobbying/advocacy work in Ontario’s healthcare ecosystem.
Requirements (Mandatory):- PhD or MB/MD specializing in stem cells, regenerative medicine, or obstetrics
- Demonstrated ability to discuss stem cell biology and related scientific concepts clearly and credibly with physicians (or proven ability to quickly master and present new technical material).
- Strong presentation and interpersonal skills — polished, refined, and professional communicator with experience engaging healthcare professionals or running educational sessions.
- Based in the Greater Toronto Area (or able to attend the in-person event in Toronto without issue).
- Excellent English communication (written and verbal); comfort with Canadian healthcare context is a plus.
- Independent, self-motivated, and comfortable operating as a freelance/contract professional.
Compensation:One-time flat fee of $750 CAD for the full event representation, including all preparation, transportation, setup, and any required materials handling. This is a complete, all-in fee — no additional reimbursements.
If the initial engagement is successful, we will discuss and negotiate a competitive ongoing rate or retainer for follow-up work (part-time freelance, sporadic projects, or potential full-time conversion). This structure allows us to evaluate fit before committing to longer-term engagement.

- This is a low-commitment entry point with genuine potential to grow into a meaningful, ongoing role.
