You’ll partner closely with senior leadership, improve how we plan and operate, and turn financial data into clear, actionable insights.

This is a permanent, full-time, fully remote position based in Canada. Candidates must be legally eligible to work in Canada.
Role ResponsibilitiesFinance Leadership- Own the internal finance function and help strengthen financial discipline across the organization
- Continuously improve finance processes, systems, and reporting
- Lead initiatives to enhance operational efficiency through the adoption of automation and AI technologies.
Financial Reporting & Planning- Lead monthly financial reporting, including management reporting and variance analysis
- Drive and improve the budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling process to support planning and decision-making
- Translate financial data into clear insights that support operational and strategic decisions
Finance OperationsOversee and support all aspects of the internal finance function, including:
- Government and regulatory reporting
- Expense management and cost controls
- Day-to-day financial operations
- Treasury management, including foreign currency management and hedging
- Payroll oversight and participation in designing variable compensation plans
Team Leadership- Manage and develop a lean accounting team
- Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and operational excellence
Business Partnership- Partner cross-functionally with leaders across the company
- Provide clear, practical financial guidance that supports business decision-making
- Ensure strong internal controls and financial accuracy while maintaining a practical, business-first mindset
Qualifications- CPA designation required
- 3+ years in a senior financial leader role in a fast-paced company
- Strong financial reporting and analytical skills
- Advanced Excel / Google Sheets skills for modelling, reporting, and analysis
- Experience with foreign currency, treasury management, or hedging
- Working knowledge of ASPE
- Prior people management experience, with the ability to coach and develop team members
- Background in public practice (CPA firm experience) with exposure to audit, working papers, and tax
- Experience improving finance processes, automation, or systems
- Interest in business intelligence, analytics, and data-driven insights
- A continuous learner who wants to grow and increase their skill set with the business
- Someone who believes in leaving things better than they found them
- Comfortable operating in both strategic and hands-on environments
- A collaborative partner who enjoys working closely with the business

Salary RangeThe salary range for this role is $125,000-$150,000 which is based off of market data in our industry and company size. Where you are placed on the pay band will coincide with your experience and skills relative to the needs of the position.
