Job OverviewHana Kitchen is a casual and welcoming restaurant serving Korean cuisine and Japanese Ramen.
We are looking for skilled, motivated, and dependable Cooks to join our growing kitchen team.
This position is ideal for someone who is passionate about food, works well in a team, and takes pride in consistency and quality.
Experience with, or interest in, Korean and Japanese cooking is a strong asset.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and cook menu items according to standardized recipes and presentation guidelines
- Ensure food is prepared safely and consistently following food handling regulations
- Assist in daily food prep and maintain proper food storage practices
- Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment, and ensure they are properly sanitized
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen environment
- Monitor food inventory and inform the manager of shortages or restocking needs
- Work efficiently and cooperatively with other kitchen staff and front-of-house team
- Follow opening, closing, and cleaning procedures for the kitchen
Preferred Qualifications & Skills- Previous experience in a restaurant kitchen or food preparation role
- Familiarity with Japanese and/or Korean ingredients, cooking techniques, or dishes
- Understanding of food safety and hygiene standards
- Ability to multitask and stay focused in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and pride in food presentation
- Team-oriented attitude and willingness to learn
- Flexible schedule availability, including evenings and weekends
