Position OverviewWe are looking for an experienced Crew Supervisor / Foreman to lead a directional drilling crew. This role is responsible for managing daily operations, ensuring work is completed safely and correctly, and keeping the crew organized and productive.
This is a leadership position for someone who can take ownership of a job site, solve problems independently, and maintain high standards without constant oversight.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage a crew on telecom construction projects
- Plan and organize daily work activities
- Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to spec
- Coordinate drilling, locating, hydrovac, and support operations
- Maintain strong communication with management and clients
- Complete daily production tracking and reporting
- Identify and solve problems in the field without needing direction
- Train and mentor crew members
- Step into operational roles when required (drilling, locating, equipment operation)
Requirements- Minimum 2–3 years experience in directional drilling or telecom construction
- Previous leadership or foreman experience strongly preferred
- Strong understanding of:
- Directional drilling operations
- Utility locating
- Hydrovac and excavation practices
- Ability to run a job site independently
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Valid driver’s license (3A preferred)
- Valid First Aid certification (required — must be current before start date)
- Ground Disturbance and SCOT (or equivalent) required (company will cover if needed)
