Position Overview

We are looking for an experienced Crew Supervisor / Foreman to lead a directional drilling crew. This role is responsible for managing daily operations, ensuring work is completed safely and correctly, and keeping the crew organized and productive.

This is a leadership position for someone who can take ownership of a job site, solve problems independently, and maintain high standards without constant oversight.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a crew on telecom construction projects
• Plan and organize daily work activities
• Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to spec
• Coordinate drilling, locating, hydrovac, and support operations
• Maintain strong communication with management and clients
• Complete daily production tracking and reporting
• Identify and solve problems in the field without needing direction
• Train and mentor crew members
• Step into operational roles when required (drilling, locating, equipment operation)

Requirements

• Minimum 2–3 years experience in directional drilling or telecom construction
• Previous leadership or foreman experience strongly preferred
• Strong understanding of:
  • Directional drilling operations
  • Utility locating
  • Hydrovac and excavation practices
• Ability to run a job site independently
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Valid driver’s license (3A preferred)
• Valid First Aid certification (required — must be current before start date)
• Ground Disturbance and SCOT (or equivalent) required (company will cover if needed)
