We are seeking a motivated and friendly individual to join our team as an Office Administrator for our busy commercial repair shop. This position is ideal for someone looking to start a career in a positive and respectful environment.
As an Office Administrator, you will be responsible for assisting customers with their inquiries and performing various administrative duties. You will be the first point of contact for our customers, so excellent communication skills and a positive attitude are essential.
This position is also responsible for accurate and detailed data entry.
This role is being hired as maternity leave coverage; however, there may be an opportunity for the position to continue long term if the arrangement proves to be a strong fit for both parties.
Key Responsibilities:- Greeting customers and assisting them with inquiries
- Answering phone calls and responding to emails
- Scheduling appointments and coordinating with technicians
- Creating and maintaining office records, files, and documentation
- Providing general administrative support as needed
- Invoice preparation and distribution
- Monitoring customer accounts to ensure timely payments
- Following up on outstanding balances and collections
- Receiving, recording, and applying customer payments accurately
Qualifications:- High school diploma or equivalent
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Basic computer skills (MS Office, email, internet)
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
