Job SummaryWe are seeking a dedicated and responsible Dog Bus Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting dogs to their designated locations. This role requires excellent communication skills, a commitment to customer service, and must love dogs.
Responsibilities- Safely operate a dog bus on designated routes while adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all dogs.
- Assist dogs with boarding and deboarding providing support as needed.
- Maintain a clean and orderly bus environment.
- Communicate effectively with clients and staff, addressing any questions or concerns they may have.
- Perform daily inspections of the bus to ensure mechanical soundness and report any maintenance issues promptly.
- Keep accurate records of routes, passenger counts, and incidents as required.
Skills / Requirements- Experience working with dogs is a must.
- Valid Class B or Class E Ontario Driver License.
- 2+ years experience driving a school bus.
- Comfortable walking multiple dogs at once.
- Background check is required prior to employment.
Job Types: Part-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 12 months
Pay: $21.00-$25.00 per hour
