The Infrastructure and Service Management (ISM) is part of Technology Support and Operations Division within the Ministry of Technology and Innovation. Role ResponsibilitiesBe the backbone of secure access for thousands across government.
The GoA Domain Access Management Team is at the heart of delivering seamless, secure, and coordinated IT services across ministries. Working in close partnership with the Service Desk, Deskside Support, Operational and Network Field Operations teams, Client Services, and Service Delivery Managers, the team ensures a consistent and efficient experience for all government clients.
As a Domain Access Management Analyst, you will play a critical role in protecting the organization’s digital environment by ensuring the right people have the right access at the right time. Reporting to the Domain Access Team Lead, you will support secure, compliant, and efficient access to enterprise systems while continuously improving service delivery through automation and responsible use of AI-enabled tools.
Your work will directly impact how users access critical applications, files, and systems, whether through the GoA Domain or remote access, making you an essential part of enabling secure and uninterrupted government operations.
ResponsibilitiesSome of your responsibilities in this position will include:
- Processing GOA account creations, deletions, terminations, email account creations, deletions, user transfers, network folder/file permissions, remote access permissions, and various other related duties.
- Providing day-to-day operational activities to ensure that all services in Domain Access Management operates efficiently, reliably and in compliance with the user access controls for the supported applications within the Government of Alberta.
- Providing domain user access in accordance to approved process and using Active Directory.
- Addressing incidents tickets and work with other service areas as needed to resolve the incident.
- Escalating incidents or problems to team lead as needed for guidance on resolution.
- Performing periodic checks to ensure that requests comply with the audit requirements.
- Participating in gathering evidence for audits.
- Developing and generating reports for access management.
- Actively monitoring data integrity.
- Creating/ Updating knowledge articles as needed.
- Contributing on activities for service improvements
