Our play-based program is seeking the right candidate for a Part or Full-Time position as an Education Assistant at multiple sites in Calgary.

What You'll Be Doing:- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that engage children in learning activities.
- Monitor and assess children's progress.
- Foster positive relationships with children, encouraging their social and emotional development.
- Incorporate technology into the classroom and as a tool for non-verbal students.
- Adapt teaching methods to accommodate children with working persons disabilities or special needs.
Qualified Candidates would hold a Level 1, 2, or 3 Childcare Certification from the Government of Alberta, a Certificate or Diploma in Early Childhood Education or Education Assistant or higher, valid First Aid + CPR C (or willing to obtain), plus ability to obtain a clean background clearance check with vulnerable sector search. Experience in the field is necessary, experience working with children with delays and disabilities is an asset.
Experience- Previous experience in childcare or early childhood education is preferred.
- Strong organizational skills to manage classroom activities and documentation effectively.
- Ability to work collaboratively with other educators and staff members.
- A passion for educating young children and a commitment to their well-being is essential.
Our office is located in Airdrie. You are expected to be able to attend meetings once a month in Airdrie.

Contract length: 6 months
Pay: $18.50-$22.00 per hour
