Due to continued growth and an increase in inquiries we require an experienced Electrical Project Coordinator to join our team in Surrey, BC. The successful applicant will work alongside the Project Manager to help secure future commercial installation and service contracts valuing between $1M & $10M.
Duties- Coordinate and oversee projects from start to finish, ensuring timely completion and adherence to quality standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop project plans and timelines
- Conduct research and analysis to support project decision-making
- Create and maintain project documentation, including schedules, budgets, and progress reports
- Monitor project progress and identify potential risks or issues, implementing corrective actions as necessary
- Communicate project updates and status reports to stakeholders
Skills- Proven experience as an Electrical Project Coordinator or similar role
- Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Proficiency in project management tools such as , ProCore, Bluebeam, and Schematics reading software
- Proficiency in estimation tools like Electrical Bid Manager (EBM), Accubid, etc.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities
- Deep understanding of system design principles within electrical engineering frameworks
- Knowledge of NEC (National Electrical Code) regulations and safety standards on construction sites
- Knowledge of requirements management and quality management processes
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks effectively
- Effective communication skills for coordinating between teams, clients, and vendors
