As the Project Coordinator, you will support Project Managers and Foremen across multiple electrical construction projects. You will review drawings, identify discrepancies, coordinate materials, support permitting and compliance, and manage documentation throughout the life of each project. This role requires a strong technical mindset, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams, suppliers, inspectors, and external stakeholders.
You will support the successful execution of electrical construction projects by reviewing drawings, performing take‑offs, identifying discrepancies, and assisting in resolving design issues, change requests, and equipment challenges. You’ll maintain project documentation, prepare submission‑ready packages, and track submittals, RFQs, quotations, and correspondence while handling day‑to‑day administrative tasks. Your role will also involve coordinating procurement activities, managing shop drawings, expediting approvals, monitoring material releases, and liaising with suppliers. In addition, you will support permits and inspections, interpret specifications and municipal requirements, distribute contemplated change notices, track change orders, and assist with progress draws, deficiency management, and the completion of all project close‑out documentation in both digital and hard‑copy formats.
You will receive a competitive salary ranging from $70,000–$85,000, depending on experience, along with a benefits package, participation in a bonus program, 3 weeks’ vacation and RRSP matching.
