About the Role

We are a warm, active household seeking a Family Care & Support Assistant to help care for multiple toddlers and infants. This role supports parents with daily routines, light household tasks, and gentle, age‑appropriate engagement with the children. We’re looking for someone steady, kind, and reliable who enjoys working closely with parents to create a smooth, predictable home environment.

What You’ll Do

Child‑Related Support

• Prepare simple, nutritious meals and snacks
• Assist with care and feeding routines
• Support diapering, toileting, and basic hygiene
• Supervise safe play indoors and outdoors
• Engage children in simple, developmentally appropriate activities
• Provide periods of childcare when parents are working around the home office and farm, or out of the home.

Household Support

• Clean up after children’s meals, snacks, and play
• Complete child‑related laundry (wash, fold, put away)
• Change bedding and maintain tidy sleep spaces
• Keep play areas organized and safe
• Assist with general tidying related to children’s daily routines

Qualifications

• Experience caring for infants and toddlers
• First Aid/CPR (or willingness to obtain)
• Foodsafe
• Understanding of child development or sensory needs is helpful
• Clear criminal record check required

Hours & Expectations

• 40 hours/week, Monday–Friday
• Occasional evenings/weekends with notice
• Ability to travel with the family is an asset
• Commitment to confidentiality and professionalism

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fixed term contract

Contract length: 12 months

Pay: $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32 – 48 per week
