- Prepare and Remit Monthly Canada Revenue Agency Remittances - Payroll Source Deductions
- Prepare and Review Annual GST Filing
- Prepare Annual CSSEA Turnover Report
- Prepare Monthly Bank Reconciliations
- Prepare Monthly Credit Card Reconciliations
- Prepare Financial Statements
- Monitor Budget Expenditures
- Fund Reporting
- Annual Audit Preparation and Support
- Answer Queries Pertaining to Financial Matters
- Budgeting: Assist with budget preparation and expense tracking.
Administrative Functions- Office Management: Ensure a functioning office environment, order office supplies, and maintain inventory.
- Scheduling & Meetings: Coordinate meetings, book rooms, and prepare agendas.
- Records Management: Maintain both electronic and physical filing systems for administrative and financial documents.
- Communication: Greet visitors, answer telephone inquiries, and handle correspondence.
- Travel Logistics: Arrange travel and accommodation.
Required Qualifications and Skills- Education: Diploma/degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field.
- Experience: 2–5 years of experience in both bookkeeping and administration.
- Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in accounting software (Sage) and MS Office Suite, especially Excel.
- Analytical Skills: Strong numeracy and attention to detail.
- Organizational Skills: Ability to prioritize work, multitask, and manage deadlines.
- Soft Skills: Strong communication, discretion with confidential information, and a professional manner.
Pay: From $35.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30.0 per week
