As we scale, our finance function is evolving toward touchless operations, continuous controls, and AI-assisted decision-making—enabling the team to focus on margin optimization, forecasting, and strategic insights rather than manual processing.

Role Overview

We are looking for a Finance Operations & Automation Specialist to build and optimize Zenduit’s finance “operating system.”

This role goes beyond traditional accounting—it is focused on designing exception-driven workflows, automation pipelines, and audit-ready controls that reduce manual effort and improve accuracy.

You will still support core finance operations, but your primary impact will come from systemizing processes, reducing cycle times, and enabling an exceptions-only finance model.

What You’ll Do

• 1) Agentic Workflow Buildout (Finance Ops “Autopilot”)
• Design and implement exception-based workflows across AR, AP, and month-end close
• Build validation gates to catch errors before invoicing or payment processing
• Create human-in-the-loop workflows (automation proposes → human approves → system logs evidence)
• 2) Continuous Controls & Audit-Ready Operations
• Build controls-by-design (approvals, segregation of duties, traceability)
• Maintain and automate a monthly Close Binder
• Run recurring control checks (discount approvals, pricing compliance, duplicate vendors)
• 3) Core Finance Operations
• Support month-end close: reconciliations, accruals, variance analysis
• Maintain strong AR/AP hygiene (aging, collections, coding, approvals)
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and tax requirements (with oversight as needed)
• 4) Zenduit-Specific Operational Integrity
• Build system checks across Zoho CRM ↔ Zoho Books ↔ Zoho Inventory
• Ensure:
• Closed-won deals → correctly invoiced/subscribed
• Shipments/activations → billed accurately
• Credits/refunds → approved, categorized, and analyzed
• Implement guardrails for pricebooks, reseller tiers, and margin floors
• 5) Reporting & AI-Assisted Decision Support
• Build weekly finance scorecards (cash, AR, margins, exceptions)
• Use AI to draft variance narratives and exception summaries
• Enable self-serve analytics and operational insights

Finance Fundamentals (Must-have):

• Strong spreadsheet/data handling skills

AI Application (Must-have):

• Use AI for anomaly detection, classification, reporting narratives
• Maintain governance with human approvals and audit trails

Compensation (GTA Market Benchmarks)

0–1 years (Fresh Grad)

$55,000 – $65,000

2–4 years

$70,000 – $90,000

Final compensation will depend on experience, skillset, and demonstrated automation capability.
