Position: Financial Assistant

Pay Rate: $19-$20/Hr. on T4

Location: Chatham ON (Hybrid)

Duration: 12+ Months (Possible Extension)

• Complete posting and balancing activities for payments received
• Processing returned payment transactions against customer accounts
• Investigating and correcting misapplied payments
• Correcting payment exceptions for successful application of cheque payments
• Completion of customer and stakeholder cases for payment and refund transactions
• Other duties as assigned

• High School Diploma (Post-secondary education in a financial area is preferred)
• 0-3 years of experience in a financial environment, bookkeeping, or accounting
• Basic understanding of bookkeeping principles
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Excellent interpersonal & communication skills
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
