Professional First Responders that are reliable, organized, work independently in a corporate environment and available to teach First Aid/CPR/AED courses on a regular part-time basis. You are a good observer, listener and have proficient communications skills required to motivate and engage students. Related experience through ongoing EMS or Fire Department pre-hospital emergency training is a must. Ability to deliver hands on approach to teaching and create a positive learning environment that empowers and builds confidence in the participants. Most classes are a blended style of online learning and in class practical's. We are seeking potential Instructors to deliver the in class practical for our corporate clients.
No previous Instructor experience required – upon acceptance, candidates will be required to attend a HeartSafe EMS instructor training course.
Responsibilities- Instruct and demonstrate First Aid and CPR/AED techniques to adult participants ensuring a clear understanding of the material.
- Create a positive and engaging classroom environment that encourages active participation.
- Assess participants' skills and provide constructive feedback to enhance their learning experience.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of First Aid protocols and certifications.
- Collaborate with team members to organize training sessions and manage class logistics effectively.
- Utilize effective communication skills to convey complex information in an accessible manner.
