OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and passionate Line Cook to join our dynamic culinary team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of dishes in a fast-paced restaurant environment. Candidates should have previous restaurant or kitchen experience and a strong understanding of food handling and meal preparation standards.
Duties- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
- Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner and meets quality specifications.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including proper food handling and storage practices.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to plan menus and ensure efficient meal preparation.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and effectively, adhering to all safety protocols.
- Assist in the training of new kitchen staff on cooking techniques and food safety practices.
- Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, reporting any shortages to management.
- Participate in catering events as needed, ensuring all dishes are prepared to perfection.
- Regular kitchen activities (opening, closing, cleaning, dishwashing)
Qualifications- Proven experience as a Line Cook or in other kitchen roles within the food industry.
- Strong culinary skills with a focus on food preparation, cooking, and presentation.
- Experience catering is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices for handling food.
- Excellent knife skills and familiarity with various cooking techniques.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team.
- Previous experience in menu planning or dietary department roles is a plus.

Pay: $17.60-$18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30.0 – 35.0 per week
