We are searching for an outgoing optical employee to work full time in our Kamloops, BC Optometry practice - past experience is an asset.

The successful candidate will handle all of the tasks in an optometry office from reception, preliminary diagnostic testing, to dispensing and quality control.
Your main responsibilities will include:- Working closely with our optometrists to provide excellent patient/customer care
- Educating patients on eye health and related issues
- Insurance billings
- Accurate and careful handling of patient files
- Reception and telephone duties
- Preliminary diagnostic testing
- Data entry, accurately completing daily reports
- Helping patients choose optical frames and lenses
Strong communication skills and attention to detail are a must. An ideal candidate has dispensing experience and is self-motivated to grow and learn.
Hours of work are all M - F and during the day. Compensation is competitive and based on equivalent experience.
