This job posting is for an existing, active vacancy and we are looking for a GCP Cloud Engineer with strong Kubernetes expertise to design, build, and manage cloud-native infrastructure and systems on Google Cloud Platform.
The pay range for this role is $115,000- $125,000 per annum including any bonuses or variable pay. Role Overview:We are seeking an experienced GCP Cloud Engineer with strong Kubernetes expertise to design, build, and manage cloud-native infrastructure and systems on Google Cloud Platform. The ideal candidate will have deep hands-on experience with GKE, containerization, IaC, and DevOps practices.
Key Responsibilities:- Design, deploy, and manage Kubernetes clusters, preferably using Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE).
- Work extensively with GCP services including:
- Compute Engine
- GKE
- Cloud Load Balancing
- IAM, VPC, Cloud DNS
- Cloud Monitoring & Logging
- Implement containerization best practices using Docker.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform or similar Infrastructure-as-Code tools.
- Administer Linux environments with strong knowledge of networking and security fundamentals.
- Work with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tools to support deployment automation.
- Develop automation scripts using Bash, Python, or Go.
Required Skills :- Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes and GKE
- Expertise in core Google Cloud Platform services
- Proficiency in Docker
- Experience with Terraform / IaC
- Strong understanding of Linux, networking, and cloud security
- CI/CD and DevOps tooling experience
- Scripting knowledge in Bash, Python, or Go
