Position: GCP Cloud Engineer (Kubernetes Specialist)
Location : Toronto
Mode of Work : Hybrid (3-4 days a week)

This job posting is for an existing, active vacancy and we are looking for a GCP Cloud Engineer with strong Kubernetes expertise to design, build, and manage cloud-native infrastructure and systems on Google Cloud Platform.

The pay range for this role is $115,000- $125,000 per annum including any bonuses or variable pay. Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced GCP Cloud Engineer with strong Kubernetes expertise to design, build, and manage cloud-native infrastructure and systems on Google Cloud Platform. The ideal candidate will have deep hands-on experience with GKE, containerization, IaC, and DevOps practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, deploy, and manage Kubernetes clusters, preferably using Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE).
• Work extensively with GCP services including:
  • Compute Engine
  • GKE
  • Cloud Load Balancing
  • IAM, VPC, Cloud DNS
  • Cloud Monitoring & Logging
• Implement containerization best practices using Docker.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform or similar Infrastructure-as-Code tools.
• Administer Linux environments with strong knowledge of networking and security fundamentals.
• Work with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tools to support deployment automation.
• Develop automation scripts using Bash, Python, or Go.

Required Skills :

• Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes and GKE
• Expertise in core Google Cloud Platform services
• Proficiency in Docker
• Experience with Terraform / IaC
• Strong understanding of Linux, networking, and cloud security
• CI/CD and DevOps tooling experience
• Scripting knowledge in Bash, Python, or Go
